Communication and negotiation skills are a huge part of being successful in real estate. I have twenty-four years experience in corporate America, progressing through many positions and levels of management that have given me strong negotiation skills and an ability to communicate clearly and effectively with many different groups. I am also considered very friendly and open-minded. Therefore, I work hard for my clients but I also work WITH my clients, paying attention to their interests while negotiating the best deal. Before becoming a Realtor I spent time as a loan officer, and learned about a variety of loan programs and processes. Although loan programs are constantly changing, the basics remain fairly consistent, so I am able to help you understand the entire real estate transaction and process from start to finish. I have been married almost 30 years to a wonderful woman and have two grown daughters and two grandchildren. They are the main reasons I left the regular work day world that consumed 60+ hours a week with extensive travel out of state. Now I am able to dedicate my work time to my clients and community while still having more free time to spend with my family. Being a lung cancer survivor, I am dedicated to supporting the American Cancer Society and walk the Relay for Life every year with my family. I also support the SPCA based in Dublin as I have been a pet owner almost all of my life.
